2 c. brown sugar
½ c. corn syrup
½ t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
5-6 qt. popped corn
Melt butter. Stir in sugar, syrup, and salt and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil at a medium boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popcorn and mix well. Put on two cookie sheets and bake at 250º for 30-40 minutes, stirring a few times. Remove from pans – keep separating before it cools completely.
