1 cup sour cream – (for baking) 7/8 cup buttermilk + 3 tablespoons butter, (for eating) 1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup heavy cream - (for baking) 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine + ¾ cup milk
1 cup catsup or chili sauce - 1 cup tomato sauce + ¼ cup sugar + 2 tablespoons vinegar
1 cup tomato paste – 1 cup tomato sauce + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour OR cook down 2 cups tomato sauce
